and to respect our wine

The Domaine de Sulauze benefits from a unique territory, where the soil consists of limestone, shells, et sand.

 

Because we want to reflect our territory's essence and respect the typicality of our wine, we intervene as little as possible in the cave. The juice fermentation is accomplished thanks to their native yeast. We either use none or little sulfites, and we do not filter our wine.

POMPONETTE 2022

AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence rosé

  • Blend : 40% Grenache noir, 15% Cinsault, 20% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon,10% Mourvèdre, 5% Vermentino

  • Average age of vines : 15 years

  • Taste : fresh, mineral. Pleasant aromas of little red fruits and citrus

Galinette

GALINETTE 2021

AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence blanc

  • Blend : Grenache Blanc, 20% Ugni Blanc, 20% Clairette, 20% Vermentino

  • Average age of vines : 25 years

  • Taste : wine with both freshness and roundness with notes of citrus and white flowers and a bit of salinity

Chapelle Laïque blanc

AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence blanc

  • Blend: Single vineyard Vermentino. East exposition, behind our little Chapelle

  • Average age of vines : 9 years

  • Taste : wine reflecting all its minerality and its clay and limestone terroir

Cochon

Vin de France rouge

  • ​Blend : all our red varieties, because "tout est bon dans le Cochon!" ("everything is good in the pig!")

  • Average age of vines : 15 years

  • Taste : wine very drinkable and fluid with fruity aromas.

Vin de France rouge

  • ​Blend :  100% Syrah à petits grains

  • Average age of vines : 25 years

  • Taste : Great fruit, tanins fully integrated, one bottle of Les Amis never stays long on the table!

charbonnières

CHARBONNIERES 2020

Vin de France rouge

  • Blend: Single Vineyard 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah

  • Average age of wines: 5 years, second harvest !!

  • Taste: very fruity and light, without too much extraction, with deepness

  • ​Blend :  80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre

  • Average age of vines : 40 years

  • Taste : little red fruits on a powerful matter

  • Blend : single vineyard Cinsault (95%) planted with some Grenache, behind our little petite Chapelle east facing, planted in 2010

  • Average age of vines : 9 years

  • Taste :  thin and elegant with rasberry notes and a superb balance.

SuperModeste

SUPER MODESTE 

Vin de France Pétillant blanc

  • Blend : 50% Vermentino, 50% Ugni Blanc

  • Average age of vines : 25 years

  • Taste :  Very digest with apple and fruit bark aromas and a generous bubble. A bottle of Super Modeste never stays long on the table !
